When we look back on presidential elections the 2020 election stands as one of the most polarized of them all. With two candidates who have crazy clashing personalities, this presidential election is one of the craziest. It became a battle of ideologies between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, this created a battleground where there was consistent tension that turned into aggression and unrest.
It was an election straight out of a WWE headliner as the 2 would showdown. The campaign would intensify and so did the sector of violence. Protests and riots were seen all over the United States as symbols of expression for their favorite candidate, this would develop into scenes of chaos and confrontation that would go beyond the digital world.
With the rise of Covid at the time of the election the tensions only got more concerning as now people want whoever can stop what is happening in the world. Trump supporters breached the halls of Congress making sure to let their opinion known and scenes of violence were seen all over the world from every angle. In the aftermath, the capital riot would cause a new wave of accountability across all political spectrums in hopes to never having that happen again. This election goes down as one of the most politically violent elections of all time.

I found your post very interesting. While you kept your language fairly neutral throughout the post, I found it odd that you referred to Donald Trump as President while referring to Joe Biden as the former Vice President. Last I checked, Donald Trump was the Former President and Joe Biden is the current President. While this could be a slip in wording, it felt as though this was intentional to show political affiliation. Other than this, I agree with you that the 2020 election was particularly violent politically. Covid definitely played a part in making this election so nasty and the January 6th insurrection only made it more violent. I am glad that as you said, the capitol attack was followed by a wave of accountability to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again.
