Turmoil in the US

In the wide landscape of America and the politics that come within, there is a lot of uncertainty in the voter's choice and its meaning. The nation navigating through a web of issues that demand attention and understanding from the voters. One of the glaring issues plaguing American Politics today is the deep polarization that has entrenched itself within the society of the digital age. This creates differences in policy preferences in the identity and values of the American politics age within the US. The United States faces pressing challenges on the global stage from climate change to geopolitical tensions. Navigating the issues requires unity and coherent approaches to truly understand.

That is the problem with Americans today. They listen to what their favorite influencers or online personalities say instead of using their own head. It happens most in newly found voters in the younger years of college. Individuals in the US don't understand how much it matters to vote with your own thoughts and not someone else's. The reason why is it gives "power" to those influencers to keep giving their opinion to the next generation.

  1. That is so true. People today no longer do any research for themselves. Everyone votes for whoever everyone else is voting for. Social media has become such an influence on elections especially with influencers influencing who people vote for. Influencers are often taking money from campaigns to do this too. A lot of people are not aware of any of this and are just blindless-ly voting.

  2. I agree that voter should be doing their own reseach, I don't think it is fair to say this happens more with younger voters. The younger generation has taken political spaces by storm. They are showing up to vote, using their voices and actively fighting for what they believe is right. You speak about influencers swaying votes but what does that make politicians? Ultimately everyone has an end goal in mind and rarely is it being open and honest or having their voters best interest. Some times it is valubale for people our own age to "influence" us, because we don't have a government that reflects our generation in age or in interest.
